I wonder how things escalated so rapidly?

My first mistake was when I was fooled back then at that inn. As the head butler of the Barter’s house, such a thing that could endanger my master’s reputation was a mistake that I should have paid with my entire life.

Since childhood, my father had always taught me that we had to serve the family because of a promise of our ancestor.

It was said that his life was saved by the daughter of the head of that period so as a thanks, he decided to let his descendants serve the family. He was someone that was obsessed with honor so it can be said that it was a fool’s promise.

But somehow, my family served the Barter’s family for years.

It was an honor for us to become the head butler of the family and I as the current one was ecstatic when I received it.

Up until now, I didn’t do any mistake.

But since my meeting with the little miss, trouble continued to find me. It was strange and quite ominous because it was as if I was cursed.

Of course, as a butler of the Barter’s family, it was rude to think that the little miss was cursed and that I was cursed because of her but…

After that first mistake, more mistakes continued to happen.

First, the carriage’s wheels suddenly broke. It was a first-rate carriage, second only to royal carriages so it was strange that it suddenly broke like that. And it wasn’t even one month old… The following mistakes were even more frightening.

After that, the room that I personally chose for her, suddenly cave in. If it wasn’t for her being on the bed, she would have died back then. And it wasn’t the only one.

Another strange event happened two days before our arrival in Etruska.

A sudden monster outbreak happened in the city where we were waiting and swarm of rats overcrowded it. If it wasn’t for the adventurers that were present in the city, we would have died due that.

Being eaten alive by rats, even I couldn’t help but shiver thinking about it.

So, you could understand why as a butler it was hard for me to protect the little miss? She was to often caught in problems that I fear for my life when I was next to her! Was there someone that felt my prejudice?!

Speaking of which, the young lady that accompanied us may understand me. If I’m not wrong, her name was Prim, right?

When she was next to the miss, she pushed her a bit to prevent a pot of flower to fall on her head or killed a raging dog that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. By the way, the dog was always aiming at the little miss. She was acting to protect her from the strange occurrence.

So, I think that she understood my sorrow.

The strange thing about all of this was that the little miss is oblivious to all of it. She was acting normally as if it was a daily occurrence that wasn’t even noteworthy.

Was that normal?

But let’s stop with that topic.

If I had to speak about another topic, I can say that my second true mistake (if we don’t consider the previous one) was when I bring her in the mansion.

The little miss had a terrible character. Of course, I already knew it before.

She was always smiling and looked carefree but when she was furious, her character always makes a rapid change. So when the little master provoked her, she asked for a duel without any hesitation.

During the duel, she pressured the little master with ease and won.

Of course, I was surprised! With her petite body, she was frightening enough with her cur-disease! So, when I saw that she also knew how to fight, I almost shi-lose strength in my bladder.

The more frightening thing was when the master asked her if something bad happened during the travel, she immediately looked at me with a smile. Although, she answered that nothing had happen in the end, her still smiling face was pretty obvious.

‘Repay me next time.’

Hadn’t I suffer enough?

Sigh.

Thankfully, today she went alone in the city so I didn’t have to follow her around. If I had to spend more time alone with her, I prefer to jump and receive a flying knife that strangely fly to her because some cook slashed a fish with too much strength.

*Toc* *Toc*

Hum? Someone was at the door at such earlier time? I wonder who it was…

*Shiver*

“Y-you’re already returning?” (Sebastian)

“Yes. There weren’t any interesting thing in the city.” (Shura)

“T-that’s unexpected. If young miss has something that interests her, I could personally command it.” I replied while trying to stop my shaking right hand.

“Well, I’ll surely notify you.” She answered while sitting in the sofa.

“By the way, can you go to the Pharmacy road? I caused some problems there so it’ll be good if you can help me.” (Shura)

P-problems?! Don’t tell me that an explosion occurred in the area because you were just there?!

“I somehow poisoned a merchant to death so if no one help him, he’ll surely die. Sadly, I’m running out of antidote so I couldn’t cure him.” She just replied while waving leisurely.

“… How much time had passed since then?” (Sebastian)

“Two hours?” (Shura)

“If I recall correctly, the Pharmacy road is fifteen minutes away from the manor, right? So why did it take two hours?” (Sebastian)

“I looked around a bit…” (Shura)

“…” (Sebastian)

“…” (Shura)

    oblivious, not obvious

And it’s normal for her. It’s her second life of bad luck.

    Thanks for the chapters 😀

    Poor Sebastian… He was cursed by Shura’s cuteness/bad luck…

Thanks, fixed (That’s how they did it, no? lol)

I know. In her previous life, it was a daily occurrence so it’s normal for her. But for person that doesn’t know her, it’s look like a curse xD

  4. deadlybell says:

    LMFAO this was perfect 😀

  5. migele no kitsune says:

    Yes, sadist streak much.
Pea, she needs the title for it.

    • Little big pea says:

don’t forget that titles are dangerous things :p

      • migele no kitsune says:

But fun too. Especially if they give you unwanted abilities. “The Sadist” – makes dominating others easier, gives bonus to whips and rope techniques.

      • Little big pea says:

….. This title is one of the hardest to obtain, you know?

      • migele no kitsune says:

You have to admit she has a chance to go down that path.

Though with her temper and her sometimes sneaky approach “Sweet Revenge” is a possibility as well.

      • Little big pea says:

I admit that she has a chance to follow this path (along the sweet revenge path too).

In truth, she truly has a high chance of gaining it xD

      • migele no kitsune says:

Prim would love them. Pity she doesn’t have achievements. So much potential for her to get trolled by the game again.

      • Little big pea says:

        Don’t you pity her?
The game (author) had already trolled so much the I even feel pity for her.

      • migele no kitsune says:

Oh. Like you don’t want to see her when she gets “Poisoner” “I have a Stalker” “My Panties got Stolen” “Dragon Mother” “Future Cook” “Got Peeped On” “Caught in the Nude” You survived but should died” “You should be Dead” “Loved by Cats” “Bashed a Noble” …

      • Little big pea says:

Are those titles or the resume of her story? xD

      • migele no kitsune says:

Achivements are resume of her story.
Some would really annoy her though.

      • Little big pea says:

Well, don’t forget that titles are hard to obtain in this game. Well, I didn’t explain it in details so it’s understandable

      • migele no kitsune says:

Achivements don’t have effects. Though she really needs a new new sideffect title. She does so many insane things.

      • Little big pea says:

she already has one, though it will be a spoiler if I tell more xD

      • migele no kitsune says:

ohh? I guess that means we stop here again till next time.
        see ya
        pea

      • Little big pea says:

See ya in next chapter xD
